Hello everyone! 

 
How we are operating due to the EHV-1/EHM outbreak!

The safety and health of ALL of our horses is first and foremost importance! 

As of right now, none of our tour/lesson horses will be leaving the property until further notice. That includes public riding arenas and trails as well, unfortunately.
We do have access to some private trails, but availability will be limited and weather permitting. All lessons will be outdoor/weather permitting at our facility

Horseback Tours

Our horseback tours will be limited and weather permitting through our winter months. Deposits are required to book your tour. Deposits are none-refundable, but we will always let you keep your deposit and reschedule in inclement weather situations. Our tours are $80/hour per participant plus mileage to trailhead from our facility and a 20% gratuity for your wrangler(s)

Dedicated Rider Program & Riding Lessons
If you are an enrolled participant in the Dedicated Rider Program, we will be lenient with your hours expiration and late cancellation fees due to weather, but also with the circumstances of this new virus and the limitations that have come along with it, we will be disregarding the 90 day expiration on your Dedicated Rider Package until further notice. There will be no indoor lessons available for booking until further notice. 

Training

If you are interested in sending your equine companion for training through this winter, we have built a temporary quarantine pen on the east side of our property away from all of our horses, border horses, and current clients horses in our program. 

Security measures implemented until further notice...
The Kinder Cowboy requires a negative EHV test upon arrival with documentation. You will be turned away if you cannot present documentation of up to date vaccines and a negative EHV test.
All training horses will be required a 2 week quarantine in the isolation pen at our facility before any training begins -no exceptions.

Our Winter Training Program With EHV-1/EHM Outbreak

Unfortunately with no indoor arena use due to this outbreak, we will be weather permitting for training as well until further notice. If we are unable to work with our client horses due to weather, you will not be charged for training, but you will still be charged for board/feed on a monthly basis. 

Our Winter training program including additional feed and electric is $1500/30 hours. 

NOTE: Training space is limited due to the quarantine period. (2 out horses/month)

Your equine companion in training will be with us a minimum of 6 weeks including quarantine period and additionally, will likely be with us longer than 30 days due to weather in the winter months with us being limited to outdoor training only. 

Due to this outbreak, many of our training clients have opted to board with us through the winter after the training period is complete. If you are interested in doing this, please discuss available space at our facility with your trainer prior. All boarding clients are required to supply their own feed.
